NovolBio is bringing to market a 95% bioplastic optical Rx lens with quality superior to existing competitors. Our mid-index lenses offer extremely high clarity vision, especially suitable for patients with myopia and high diopter prescriptions. The lens is ultra-clear, with low chromatic aberration and a high Abbe value, and is among the very lightest weight materials available.

The material has an additional significant commercial advantage in that it can be formed to finished Rx directly from the polymer, eliminating the costly surfacing step and accompanying 90% waste material generation.
