Nu-Wood is a plastics manufacturer that produces a specially formulated polyurethane polymer designed to mimic the detailing of wooden millwork. The material can be cut, shaped, routed, nailed, stapled, and screwed like wood, but it resists cracking, flaking, blistering, and insect damage, offering a durable alternative for exterior or interior trim and millwork projects. The company provides ready-to-install products that arrive factory primed and painted white, with the option to apply outdoor-grade paint over the top to match project needs. Based in Syracuse, Indiana, Nu-Wood serves customers seeking a wood-like material with improved performance characteristics and ease of installation. As a small company, it operates within the plastics manufacturing sector, positioning itself as a specialized contributor to architectural and construction applications requiring durable, paintable millwork substitutes.
