Established as a joint venture between worldwide logistics and freight forwarding company Nippon Express and packaging specialist company Nittsu Shoji, NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. was created with both specialties in mind and now provides the best of both worlds. In 1989, eighty-two acres were purchased and a 100,000 sq. ft. building was built to begin this venture. Initially, NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. provided warehousing services to automotive customers. Later that year, we were contracted to provide aftermarket packaging services to an automotive lighting company. This contract grew very rapidly, providing us with a reputable name in the packaging business. Soon other suppliers sought us out with their packaging business. Over the years, NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. has grown significantly. We now have 960,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space to grow. Our business started with only seven employees and now provides employment to over 800 associates and expanded to two locations, including Ohio and South Carolina. We take pride in our work and focus on both quality and excellence. We believe this approach allows us to better serve our customers. As we continue to evolve, the focus of NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. will be given toward constant innovation and excellence. We will continually seek avenues of expansion and ways to better serve our customers.
