Oak Grove School is a K-12 educational institution in Ojai, California, that emphasizes inquiry-based learning anchored in self-understanding. Founded in 1975 by philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti, the school's distinctive approach invites students to pose deep questions and explore inner truths within a 150-acre wooded campus. It seeks families and communities looking for an education that weaves culture, curriculum, and classroom practice around a philosophy of living and learning, with emphasis on safe space, affectionate communication, and ease in facing challenges. Positioned within the primary and secondary education landscape, Oak Grove presents an alternative that centers inquiry and holistic development rather than conventional instruction. A recent development noted is the school's participation in its 2025 Alumni Gathering on campus, reflecting ongoing alumni engagement.
