OBJECT TERRITORIES is a small critical design practice with a presence in both Hong Kong and New York. Its work spans architecture, interiors, landscapes, and urbanism, and it engages built environments at scales from strategic interventions to regional masterplans. The firm examines the spatial relationships between objects and territories to develop coherent forms and activate fields of organization. It pursues spatial, programmatic, and material innovation to enrich experience and foster social relations through design. The practice was founded by Marcus Carter and Miranda Lee, with Michael Kokora joining later, built on a shared design approach developed through their collaborative work. Based in New York and Hong Kong, it operates as a small studio focused on thoughtful, context-aware projects.
