Founded in 2009 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, OBXtek now employs over 300 people on more than 15 contracts at job sites around the globe. We maintain prime contracts with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, Department of State, Department of Agriculture, General Services Administration, National Guard, Department of Transportation, Department of Justice, and Defense Language Institute. OBXtek has three Centers of Excellence: 1) digital modernization which covers cybersecurity; enterprise IT service management; IT engineering; software, cloud, and mobility; 2) mission support services; and 3) acquisition and program management. In 2024, OBXtek was a HIRE Vets Medallion Award recipient by the US Department of Labor. OBXtek was recognized as a Virginia Values Veterans (V3) certified company by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services.
