OBXtek is a relationship-driven information technology and diversified professional services company. Founded in 2009 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, OBXtek now employs over 300 people on more than 15 contracts at job sites around the globe. OBXtek has three Centers of Excellence: 1) digital modernization which covers cybersecurity; enterprise IT service management; IT engineering; software, cloud, and mobility; 2) mission support services; and 3) acquisition and program management. In 2024, OBXtek was a HIRE Vets Medallion Award recipient by the US Department of Labor. OBXtek was recognized as a Virginia Values Veterans (V3) certified company by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. In 2023, OBXtek was recognized as the 4th largest veteran-owned company and 12th largest cybersecurity company in the Greater D.C. area by the Washington Business Journal.
