OBXtek is a relationship-driven information technology and diversified professional services company. Founded in 2009 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, OBXtek now employs over 500 people on more than 35 contracts at job sites around the globe. 

Our teams are committed to identifying, developing, and delivering innovative solutions to our civilian and military partners. OBXtek pairs lessons learned across disciplines with industry standard quality practices such as CMMI-DEV Level III, CMMI-SVC Level III, ITIL, 6Sigma, PMI, and ISO.  

We maintain prime contracts with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, Social Security Administration, Veterans Affairs, Defense Information Systems Agency, Department of Agriculture, General Services Administration, Peace Corps, National Guard Bureau, and Department of Labor. 

OBXtek has six Centers of Excellence: cybersecurity; enterprise IT service management; IT engineering; software, cloud, and mobility; training and logistics; and acquisition and program management.

OBXtek was recognized as a Virginia Values Veterans (V3) certified company by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. In 2023, OBXtek was recognized as the 4th largest veteran-owned company and 12th largest cybersecurity company in the Greater D.C. area by the Washington Business Journal. In 2019, OBXtek was named Veteran Owned Business of the Year in the Maturing Business category by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce at the Distinguished Service Awards, and OBXtek was named Veteran Friendly Employer of the Year by American Veterans (AMVETS) in the Midsized Company Champion category.
