OCBC Indonesia is a Jakarta-based bank with roots dating to 1941, when it was established in Bandung as NV Nederlandsch Indische Spaar En Deposito Bank. As the fourth oldest bank in Indonesia, it has developed a focus on serving small business customers and operates a nationwide network across 61 cities with hundreds of branches. OCBC Singapore is the controlling shareholder, holding about 85% of OCBC Indonesia's stock. The bank is licensed and supervised by the OJK and Bank Indonesia and participates in the LPS. In May 2026, OCBC Indonesia agreed to acquire HSBC Indonesia’s International Wealth and Premier Banking business, and its main office was relocated to OCBC Tower in central Jakarta to strengthen access to the business center.
