The organization operates within the professional training and coaching sector and has positioned itself to support displaced veterans through a program that combines housing, education, and real-world work experience in a collaborative, residential-and-commercial learning environment. OSTI emphasizes practical, experiential learning delivered by seasoned instructors, aiming to help students achieve financial independence through skill development. A recent development includes the launch of an interactive trainer kit focused on OSHA Exit Route, Emergency Action Plan, Fire Protection, and Fire Prevention for safety professionals. The organization is based in Reno, Nevada, and operates as a registered nonprofit with a mission that includes both educational training and veteran support initiatives.
