Tax Increment Finance Districts: •Assisted in implementation of six TIF development plans. •Assisted creation of Village of Suring TIF District County Wide Tourism: •Development of Oconto County Discovery Guide. •Creation and staffing of Oconto County Tourism Council •Creation and maintenance of tourism portion of web site Since 1985 OCEDC has had a lead role or has had primary responsibility for programs or projects that total over $300 million in industrial and community development in Oconto County that has impacted or created over 2,500 jobs.
