The Office of Inspector General (OIG) is an independent, nonpartisan body serving the citizens of New Orleans by promoting integrity and accountability in City government. The OIG has a mission to prevent and detect fraud, waste, abuse, and corruption in City government and by City contractors. Our office also works to ensure that government operations comply with best practices for transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
