Oktoberfest Tampa operates a three-day festival that transforms Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa into a waterfront beer garden. The event features traditional Schuplatt dancing, alphorn performances, keg tappings, live music, and a broad array of German and Bavarian foods and beers. Alongside cultural programming, attendees can participate in custom Oktoberfest games such as barrel rolling and stein hoisting, plus a separate cornhole field and a kids play zone.

The festival offers a range of beers, including pilsners, Hefeweizens, dunkels, and Oktoberfest brews. Entrance is free for military personnel with proper ID, and the event is supported in part by Pepin Distributing; a recent partnership with Green Bench Brewing Co. introduced three traditional brews for the festival.
