Together, these partners bring the Games to viewers in more than 200 countries. The International Olympic Committee established OBS as the permanent host broadcaster to streamline the operation and maintain high Olympic broadcast standards from Games to Games. Based in Madrid, Spain, OBS also supports Games-time operations in the host cities and maintains a sizable workforce. In February 2026, OBS announced a new generation of AI-assisted replay systems.
