We are conveniently located at the corner of 8th Street and 13th Avenue, across from the ambulance entrance to Decatur General Hospital. We offer same day appointments as well as evening and weekend appointments to accommodate your schedule. We also offer free parking at our front door!

Comfort

Open MRI of Decatur is named after our scanner that is completely open on all four sides. Its unique design accommodates ALL TYPES of patients, even physically large and claustrophobic patients and is ideal for elderly and sedation sensitive patients. A microphone and speaker system allows communication with the technologist during your exam. For your enjoyment you may listen to a CD of your choice and bring a companion to sit with you during your entire exam.

Accredited by the American College of Radiology

Open MRI of Decatur has been granted a 3 year term of accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR awards accreditation to MRI practices for the achievement of high standards after a voluntary evaluation. The MRI Accreditation Program evaluates qualifications of personnel, equipment performance, effectiveness of quality control measures and quality of clinical images.
