Designed by a loving mother ensconced with her daughter between the four walls of her hospital room (and in consultation with child life specialists, therapists and other similarly situated caregivers), Open The Joy came to life to provide curated kits filled with therapeutic and educational arts and crafts, magic tricks, mindful origami, positive quote coloring posters, canvas and paints, conversation-invoking cards, and more.  Open The Joy’s mission is simple:  Fill difficult times with laughter, learning and a sense of normalcy - what children in such situations deserve, and their caregivers desire, most.

For every box purchased- Open the Joy continues to donate a Joy Box to a hospitalized child. The founders believe that true healing takes places by spreading joy. Today, they service 7 hospitals and continue to spread their mission of bringing joy to hospitalized children across America.
