Orange Grove Center, founded in 1953, is a private, nonprofit, community-based organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving nearly 1,200 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Hamilton County and parts of North Georgia. It emphasizes inclusive daily experiences achieved through partnerships with the broader community and through practical supports rather than a single site. The center houses the Morton J. Kent Habilitation Center, a dedicated hub for innovation, and maintains research affiliations with universities, including work related to autism. The Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities has recognized Orange Grove Center with a 4-Star Award for outstanding services.

Its programs span therapy services—physical, occupational, speech/language, and nutritional management—and residential services, including housing options for aging individuals with intellectual disabilities; adult services such as community supports, personal assistance, vocational training, and employment experiences; and health care services with medical and special-needs dental clinics. Children’s services focus on exceptional education and vocational training, complemented by recycling, art, music and dance programs, and other activities designed to engage and support people across the lifespan. The organization serves residents of Tennessee and Georgia and operates from Chattanooga, where it has pursued collaborations with local institutions; in 2024, Chattanooga State partnered with Orange Grove Center to provide opportunities for Tiger Access students.
