ORYX GTL is a private shareholding company formed as a joint venture between QatarEnergy (51%) and Sasol's Middle East and India division (49%), based in Doha, Ad Dawḩah region, Qatar, with its GTL operations in Ras Laffan Industrial City. Since 2006, it converts natural gas from Qatar’s North Field into liquid hydrocarbons using Sasol’s Slurry Phase Distillate process, producing GTL products. Its output includes ultra-low sulfur GTL Diesel for transport, GTL Naphtha for petrochemical feedstock, and LPG for heating, placing the company in the downstream segment of the oil and gas sector. The company serves customers in Qatar’s energy and industrial sectors, providing gas-derived fuels and feedstocks for transport blending, manufacturing, and heating applications.
