The Oshkosh Public Museum is a non-profit regional history museum, housed in the historic Sawyer home since 1924. We are home to more than 300,000 collection pieces and historical documents representing the history, culture, and heritage of the Oshkosh and Lake Winnebago region. Experience the rich history of our region by visiting our exhibits and attending our schedule of educational experiences and events. This is not an open public forum. The purpose of this site is to present matters of public interest in the City of Oshkosh, including information useful to its many residents, businesses, and visitors.
