The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, a public authority, is the official marketing and promotional agency for Dare County on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Acting as the business entity of the Dare County Tourism Board, the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau provides the public with current and useful travel-related information, and has a principal mission to grow visitation during less-than-peak season, while sustaining the area's tourism-related economic base during peak visitation months.
