Outer Cape Health Services (OCHS) is a is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with three community health center locations on Cape Cod, in Provincetown, Wellfleet and Harwich, and pharmacies in Provincetown and Wellfleet. Our mission is to provide a full range of healthcare and supportive social services that promote the health and well-being of all who live in or visit the eight outermost towns of Cape Cod: Harwich, Brewster, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. We serve nearly 17,000 patients per year, providing a wide range of services including primary care, specialty care, behavioral health, pharmacy, WIC and insurance enrollment assistance, and no one is denied access to services due to an inability to pay. OCHS is an affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centers and partners with Cape Cod Healthcare, and enjoys strong collaborative relationships with many town and community agencies. Outer Cape Health Services is the single largest non-governmental employer in our service area, with nearly 200 employees. Founded in 1987 through the merger of Health Associates of Provincetown (established in 1972) and the AIM Medical Center in Wellfleet (established in 1966), Outer Cape Health has a long history of successful growth and expansion in pursuit of our mission. We plan to continue growing to better serve our patients – our expanded Harwich Port facility is planned to open in the fall of 2018 and a renovation of our Wellfleet facility will be completed in the Summer of 2019.
