The Wright Center for Community Health provides primary health care to children and adults across Northeastern Pennsylvania through a network of clinics in Clarks Summit, Hawley, Scranton, Jermyn, North Pocono and Wilkes-Barre. The practices operate under the Patient-Centered Medical Home model, coordinating care through a patient’s primary care physician to ensure necessary services are available when and where they are needed. Across its Luzerne, Lackawanna and Wayne County locations, care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and support staff who work with patients and their families to develop effective health plans that address physical and mental/behavioral health. The Wright Center supports graduate medical education with eight residency and fellowship programs in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Regional Family Medicine, National Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Cardiovascular Disease, Gastroenterology and Geriatrics, with national partners in Washington, Arizona, Ohio and Washington, D.C. Based in Jermyn, Pennsylvania, the organization operates clinics across Luzerne, Lackawanna and Wayne Counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania. In March 2026, it opened an on-site pharmacy at its Wilkes-Barre community health center, expanding access to pharmacy services.
