Ted Palashis founded Overbrook, a privately-owned professional laboratory services and instrumentation company in 2001. Overbrook consists of three operating groups: Overbrook Support Services, Overbrook Advisory Services, and Overbrook Scientific. For over 21 years his company has focused on the essential laboratory instrumentation services required throughout the lifecycle of a laboratory. 
 
Overbrook Support specializes in laboratory fit-out, basis of design and supporting services including procurement, relocations, laboratory asset management and instrumentation engineering services and provides support to the life sciences, biotech, materials and environmental testing industries. Overbrook is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and conducts business worldwide.

Palashis has presented and published nationally on a variety of topics related to challenges in the industry for I2SL( International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories), AFE (Association for Facilities Engineering) including the history and growth challenges of laboratory asset management, laboratory relocation best practices, the Challenges in Designing and Operating Safe and Sustainable Labs, Proper approach to laboratory instrument lifecycle management and the difference between customer service and customer compliance and is a contributor to Lab Manager magazine.
