OWYN Safety got its start in 1999 as US Compliance Systems. Keith Dague and Charles Jobe owned contracting businesses and experienced the headaches of trying to satisfy OSHA requirements first-hand. They knew there had to be a better way. So they started a company to make safety management simple, easy and pain-free.

Over time, safety requirements became even tougher to meet. This spurred the emergence of robust and complicated safety management programs. With an extensive list of services and high price tags, they weren’t a realistic solution for smaller businesses.

Driven to deliver on their original core values of simple, easy and pain-free, US Compliance Systems evolved to OWYN Safety. In 2022, the family-run business introduced an affordable subscription-based safety and compliance management platform based on one principle: providing Only What You Need.
