P. Park NJ, LLC has been known as a facility to help manage clean fill in accord with a quarry reclamation project in the Borough of Prospect Park. As of 6/1/2018 it received a NJDEP Class B Recycling Permit for source separated concrete, brick, block and asphalt. Class B Recycling Facility The State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste has announced the following: Class B Approval The NJ DEP has approved P. Park NJ, LLC to receive, store, process and transfer the following Class B Recyclable Materials: Asphalt, Concrete, Brick & Block. Facility Type: Class B Recycling Center Municipality: Prospect Park County: Passaic Facility ID No.: 132589 Permit No.: CBG170001 Materials The following source separated Class B recyclable materials, which have been separated at the point of generation from other waste materials or separated at a permitted solid waste facility authorized to separate recyclable materials, may be received, stored, processed or transferred at this recycling center: Asphalt, Concrete, Brick & Block.[N.J.A.C. 7:26A-3.5(e)] Concrete, brick and block can be commingled together. However, asphalt must be separate from all materials. Please be aware that commingling of Asphalt with any other material is prohibited. [N.J.A.C. 7:26A-3.5(e)] Clean Fill A Clean Fill reclamation facility that will provide a platform for a sustainable redevelopment of a former quarry which will reconnect the neighborhood, business and community assets. All material that will be utilized for the reclamation must be pre-qualified under P. Park NJ, LLC's protocol listed on our website and applicable New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection regulations. All material utilized in the reclamation of the P. Park NJ site will be beneficially used to provide a platform for a high quality redevelopment project linked with Borough of Prospect Park’s future.
