Parallel’s principals have been leading providers of high-quality, multifamily and student properties for over 20 years. The executive team consists of David Pierce, Kristen Penrod and Sam Newman. Prior to forming Parallel, Pierce and Penrod led the development team at Inland American Communities/ University House Communities (“IAC/ UHC”) where they developed the key assets in a $1.4B student housing portfolio sale. Sam Newman brings over 17 years of world class institutional development experience at American Campus Communities ("ACC") to the Parallel team. Since its founding, Parallel has successfully developed its own award-winning properties with some of the world’s premier institutional investors and partners.
