Park & Longstreet, P.C. is a law firm concentrating almost exclusively in representing property owners in property tax appeals since 2000. Prior to starting the law firm the partners at Park & Longstreet, P.C. served as Hearing Officers with the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board, the highest level of administrative appeal. As Hearing Officers the partners presided over property tax appeals and analyzed evidence to determine a property’s correct assessment. During their tenure the partners reviewed assessments in over a thousand property tax appeals, presided over hundreds of hearings involving attorneys, expert appraisers, County Boards of Review and State's Attorney, and adjudicated appeals of properties worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Since 2000 we have been using this unique insight into successful property tax appeals to fight for the lowest possible assessments for our clients. We have handled over 10,000 property tax appeals and concentrate primarily in property tax appeals on behalf of Cook County residential, rental, and small commercial and industrial property owners saving our clients millions of dollars in property taxes.
