PICS (Partners in Community Supports) is a Financial Management Service (FMS) and 245D basic licensed provider for families who receive support in their own homes and communities. We offer services statewide to individuals with identified needs, older adults and their families. When you choose to self-direct your home care, you decide who your caregivers are and how you receive support. At PICS, we're here to help you handle the details, including hiring and training, managing payroll, budgets and everything in between. PICS serves as an FMS and licensed service provider for the following: Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS): An option under the Home and Community Based Waiver program that empowers people to have more control over their services and supports, allowing them to tailor their care to meet their unique needs. Community First Services and Supports (CFSS): A Minnesota health care program replacing personal care assistance (PCA) and Consumer Support Grant (CSG), offering flexible options for individuals with identified needs, chronic medical conditions and older adults — empowering them to live more independently in their homes and communities. Individualized Home Support without training: These are traditional waivered services providing essential assistance for individuals with identified needs, focusing on daily living activities and community participation without the need for formal training. Private pay services: Service option for individuals not eligible for a state-based waiver who would like to pay for self-directed services. PICS is a subsidiary of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.
