Pasco-Hernando State College is a public higher education institution serving the Florida communities of Pasco and Hernando counties. Based in New Port Richey and operating seven campuses, it combines modern facilities with programs designed to advance student success. The college offers an Associate in Arts degree that guarantees transfer to Florida public universities at the junior level and provides Bachelor's degrees, Associate in Science degrees, and certificates to prepare students for more than 30 in-demand careers across business, health, industry, technology, and public service. It maintains an Open Door policy that welcomes high school graduates and GED recipients and serves students of all ages and abilities. In 2026, PHSC expanded its collaborations to broaden opportunities for students, including a memorandum of understanding with Florida Gulf Coast University to establish a framework for future academic agreements in Pasco and Hernando counties.
