It was back in the 60s when our founder Giovanni Rana used to roam the countryside road, balancing heavy trays on the back of his second-hand red Guzzi motorbike to deliver handmade tortellini to local groceries in the Verona area. We’ve come a long way since 1962: we never forgot our roots and we constantly stay true to them. Over the years Pastificio Rana has grown into a huge family, now counting 3500 members spread over almost 60 countries around the world. This was made possible thanks to Gian Luca Rana, Giovanni’s son. He has been working passionately for 30 years serving as CEO, using his vision and strong leadership to give the company an international footprint, from our original plant in San Giovanni Lupatoto to five plants across Italy, one in Belgium and even two in Chicago. The devotion to the quality of our products and our creativity have allowed us over the years to reach the highest level of innovation, which has enabled us to conquer new challenges and satisfy the desires of our customers around the world.
