PathWays PA is a nonprofit organization based in Holmes, Pennsylvania, serving women, children, and families in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Founded in 1978 as the Women’s Association for Women’s Alternatives, it began as one of Pennsylvania's first residential programs designed to keep low-income women with their children and has since grown into an established provider of residential and community-based services in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Each year, more than 6,000 people access its programs, which encompass social services, job training and employment assistance, outreach, and residential care as families move toward self-sufficiency. It maintains offices across Southeastern Pennsylvania and pursues advocacy on behalf of low-wage workers statewide. PathWays PA is accredited by the National Council on Accreditation and has received various awards recognizing its service, including Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Network Award and regional honors.
