Located in northeast Colorado, Pawnee Waste is an innovative solid waste landfill exclusively designed to provide responsible waste management that meets various industry needs while protecting the environment.

Pawnee Waste is the only solid waste landfill to carry a Technologically Enhanced Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (TENORM) permit in Weld County, and one of only three disposal sites permitted in the State of Colorado to accept TENORM E&P waste above CDPHE administrative limits.

The installation of a multi-layer lining system shields against groundwater contamination and provides added safeguards for the highest level of long-term security for our customers and the public.

Strategic location and around-the-clock operations

The Pawnee Waste facility is strategically located within the Niobrara/Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin inside Weld County, near the southeast corner of CR 118 and CR 95.

General hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 365 days of the year.  24-hour availability is offered to all customers upon request.
