Peak & Balance Centers of America provides a full range of physical therapy services specializing in the treatment of dizziness and balance disorders, orthopedic services, and sports injuries. We’ve built a national reputation through continuous advancement in vestibular (inner ear system) rehabilitation: the treatment for dizziness and balance disorders. With years of research and program development with the Department of Defense, professional sports teams and other organizations, Peak leads the industry with licensed physical therapists trained and certified for vestibular rehabilitation therapy. Peak and Balance Centers of America was founded by Jim Buskirk, a world-renowned specialist, highly skilled in the treatment of vestibular disorder, orthopedic and sports injuries. He is well published and, at several Chicagoland medical universities, a regular instructor covering the vestibular system, disorders and treatments. Jim has also worked extensively with NFL and NHL players, the US Navy, and the Air Force Academy in treating and preparing athletes and pilots with balance issues and concussive injuries.
