Peak Organic Brewing Company is a Portland, Maine-based brewery in the Food and Beverage Services sector that crafts beers using ingredients sourced directly from organic farms in the Northeast. The business has roots in the 1990s home-brewing scene, led by founder Jon Cadoux, who combined a passion for beer with a commitment to sustainability. From its early days, Peak has prioritized partnerships with local organic farmers, other local purveyors, and creative chefs to produce beer that relies on high-quality regional ingredients.

In 2009, Peak played a role in Maine's hop sector by helping to cultivate commercial hops—the first such harvest there since 1880. The company highlights its ongoing environmental impact, reporting that annually it helps keep 205,775 pounds (about 93.45 tons) of toxic persistent pesticides and chemicals off the soil. A 2023 partnership with L.L.Bean aims to raise Earth Day awareness by showcasing Peak’s use of organic and local ingredients.
