Pediatrics Northwest, PS, is a multi-specialty group whose providers have looked after local children for more than half a century.

Co-founded in 1980, Dr. George Tanbara and Dr. Lawrence Larson's vision was to provide a highly skilled team of pediatric providers to care for the area’s children.

As one of the Puget Sound’s leaders in pediatric care, we believe patients should expect compassion, high-quality healthcare and the latest medical innovations, regardless of financial, ethnic, religious or social status. We also believe that preventive health screenings are important, along with a commitment to health education for each of our patients.

Our superb, board-certified staff of general pediatricians and advanced registered nurse practitioners offer a range of care, from same-day illness appointments and well-child checks to sports physicals, immunizations and other general pediatric services.

In addition, our board-certified sub-specialty physicians provide care in pediatric and adult allergy/immunology, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric hematology/oncology, pediatric endocrinology and sleep medicine.

We have four convenient office locations: Gig Harbor, Federal Way and two in Tacoma.
