Peer Support Space is a small Orlando, Florida-based organization in the mental health care field that operates as a grassroots peer-support initiative. It is led by individuals who have personal experience with mental health challenges, trauma, grief, or related obstacles to wellness and emphasizes mutual support and education drawn from lived experience. The group offers free options for mental wellness and launched its inaugural program in April 2017 after incorporating in September 2016. With a focus on peer-led connection, Peer Support Space serves people facing mental health challenges, trauma, or substance-use issues and seeks to reach broader communities through collaborations. In February 2025, the organization announced a partnership with The Queer Trans Project and other community groups to assemble and distribute care packages for transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
