People for Urban Progress is a small Indianapolis-based nonprofit focused on advancing civic sustainability through design-led initiatives. Its activities have included notable partnerships, such as an Amtrak collaboration in 2018 to repurpose leather seat covers from Acela trains and a 2023 effort with Hamilton County Tourism to extend the life of public banners.
