The Perkins Center for the Arts is a small- to mid-sized nonprofit in the arts sector, operating in southern New Jersey, with a focus on supporting artists and audiences through presenting arts programs. It is based in Moorestown, housed in a historic 1910 Tudor building, with a second facility in Collingswood since 2002. It is recognized as a Major Presenting Organization by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and has earned a Citation of Excellence for programs that foster participation, understanding, and communication among diverse audiences. The center develops community-based arts programs, particularly in Camden, through partnerships with other organizations to build communities and emphasize arts as a force for learning and intercultural experiences. It offers both free and fee-based programs to a broad regional audience across Burlington, Camden, Gloucester Counties and the greater Delaware Valley region, and engages artists, students, members, and donors. Recently, in March 2026, it hosted and planned a Young @ Art show, marking the first time in 15 years that the exhibition has been held.
