Personal MD, a McKinney-based medical services company, specializes in helping small and mid-sized companies provide their employees access to affordable health care. 

Through its Personal MD Medical Care™ program, which is designed to be an integral part of a small business health plan, employees and their families can get the health care services they need.  The program includes access to:

•	A board-certified family practice physician; 
•	The Personal MD Health Network, a pre-qualified network of 30 specialists who provide services at substantially reduced fees; and
•	Membership in Personal Rx, a discount pharmacy program. 

The program can also include a part-time, on-site medical office depending on the number of employees and family members who enroll. The office is staffed by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant and provides basic primary care, referrals to specialists when necessary and a wellness program.  

Employers or individual members pay a monthly per-person fee of $80 or less, depending on the number of employees enrolled.  The fee for a 30-minute office visit with a physician is $0.  Family rates are available.
