Peterson Geotechnical Group is an engineering firm located in Chandler, Arizona. We work on civil and geotechnical engineering projects for a variety of new and existing construction projects throughout Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Texas. Forensic geotechnical engineering is an analysis of a structure in order to understand the cause of problems and/or failure. For example, we frequently get calls from homeowners that are having reoccuring drywall cracks, tile cracks, and/or stucco cracks. These reoccurring problems can be related to several factors, but our job is to determine the exact cause, design a repair, and then oversee that repair.
