The Pharmacy Council of New Zealand is the regulator of pharmacist and our purpose is to protect the health and wellbeing of the New Zealand public by ensuring pharmacist are competent and fit to practise. Our vision is to “promote enhanced wellbeing through excellence in pharmacy practice”. We do this by - setting standards and qualifications for registration, developing guidelines, authorising registration of pharmacists, reviewing and promoting competence, and acting on concerns about the competence, professional conduct or health of a practitioner. By doing so, we aim to make a significant difference to the health and wellbeing of New Zealand.
