Piiholo Zipline operated as a scenic adventure on Piiholo Ranch in Maui, Hawaii, designed to showcase the landscape from mountain to sea. The project emerged from the efforts of Peter Baldwin, a fifth-generation descendant of Reverend Dwight Baldwin, and his three sons, expanding the ranch's offerings beyond cattle and horseback riding. Opening in December 2008 after more than two years of planning, the course traversed rolling meadows, deep gulches, tall trees, and included Hawaii's longest side-by-side zipline, over half a mile in length. Based in Makawao, Hawaii, the zipline was part of the travel arrangements industry, operated by a small team. The operation is permanently closed.
