To ensure the safety, wellness and comfort of the citizens of Pike County through the delivery of exceptional care and preventive services.

General Information

The Pike County Health Department, Home Health and Hospice is a not-for-profit organization funded by area taxes, and staffed with area professionals. The agency provides numerous services to area individuals. In addition to being a health department, the agency is also a provider of home health, and is one of only six county based hospices.

The agency is able to provide countless services in each of its three capacities (health dept., home health, & hospice) many of which are offered at no or very little cost to the public.  Through the delivery of exceptional care and preventive services, the agency aims to ensure the safety, wellness and comfort of all Pike County and surrounding area residents, regardless of their situation.
