Placer Nature Center, in Auburn, CA, provides activities, events and classes to children and families in wildlife, astronomy, reptiles, gardening, art, insects, ecology, watershed & much more! 

By giving people, of all ages, the opportunity to experience nature first hand, they learn about ecology, conservation and sustainable living while developing a sense of wonder, a growing imagination, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities.

Through environmental education, Placer Nature Center awakens a sense of curiosity and discovery about the world around us.  Environmental education helps us understand that our daily choices impact the world's ecology as well as the social and economic well-being of us all.
