By giving people, of all ages, the opportunity to experience nature first hand, they learn about ecology, conservation and sustainable living while developing a sense of wonder, a growing imagination, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities.

Through environmental education, Placer Nature Center awakens a sense of curiosity and discovery about the world around us.
