Planet Solar Inc. installs Photovoltaic systems (systems that make electricity from the sun) on residential, commercial, DOD, and especially multi-family housing projects. In 2011, Planet Solar completed one of the most complicated and certainly the largest Government Affordable Housing solar project in the US - approximately 2mW, almost 1000 dwelling units, 250+ buildings, 23 properties, 5 municipalities, 3 utility companies - and one happy customer. That was one of six affordable housing projects for the year, making Planet Solar the largest Affordable Housing installer in America. But our bread and butter is still single family homes. We offer our customers the finest quality products in the industry, strictly chosen on qualities that benefit the end user (our customer), usually at the lowest price in the region. We have financing and $0 down lease options for our customers if needed, and perform all the paperwork for our customers to make 'Going Solar' as easy as saying yes. Best of all, our installers are the most experienced professionals in the business, so that your project is completed on time, on budget, as clean and attractive as possible, every time. This is lead by our founder, who installed his first solar system in 1983, and lived mostly off-grid using solar from 1998 - 2002.
