Plasma-Tec manufactures and coats precision machined and ground components for various OEM industries, with a niche in high wear applications such as rotating equipment & pump components. We are experts in precision machining, turning and grinding as well as wear-resistant and anti-corrosive hard surfacing - thermal spraying. We prefer to manufacture complete your rotating equipment components. We love to make coated and NON-coated components. And we enjoy SOQs (small order quantities!) We utilize wire arc spray, combustion or spray & fuse systems, plasma spray, Rokide spray and high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) spray systems to apply a wide variety of materials in order to bring increased wear life to our OEMs' components. Plasma-Tec can CNC machine, CNC turn and CNC grind, as well as spray: ceramics, carbides, and virtually hundreds of different metals and their alloys. We have expertise in machining a wide variety of base materials such as low carbon steels, superalloy and nickel-alloy steels, stainless steels, brass, bronze, and other specialty metals. Our coating processes include Spray & Fuse, Rokide, Plasma, HVOF and Twin Wire Arc, as well hard chrome plating. Our facilities encompass over 30,000 square feet and are equipped with modern spray & plating equipment, as well as CNC lathes, CNC mills and CNC grinding machines. We have a fully equipped, environmentally-controlled Quality Lab. Plasma-Tec has been a leading provider of precision machined & ground coated and non-coated OEM components for over 30 years. We have achieved our ISO 9001:2008 certification. We are a Veteran Friendly organization, with over 15% of our current full-time workforce being veterans. We have pledged our support for the National Guard and the Reserves through ESGR.
