Play Rugby USA is a nonprofit youth development organization based in New York City, harnessing the power of rugby to build character and empower youth to reach their full potential—on and off the field. We believe every young person deserves access to safe, inspiring, and engaging programming that helps them grow as leaders, teammates, and citizens. We support over 2,500 student-athletes in NYC each year, primarily through our flag rugby afterschool programs and tournaments at schools and CBO's, as well as our year-round Academy program, which features tackle rugby and wraparound support in a community-based setting. Through our unique values-based curriculum, these young people build and develop the social and emotional skills needed to be successful on the field, in the classroom, at home and in their communities.
