Pluris began in 2006 when a number of engineers, contractors and financial people with experience in design, operations and maintenance came together to focus on the water and wastewater needs in rural and small urban communities. Most of the group came out of large national utilities and believed there was a need for service to a segment within the industry that needed assistance with aging infrastructure and innovative ways to solve financial and technical challenges facing these communities. Now over 13 years later the focus has not changed and Pluris provides water and wastewater utility and wholesale water delivery to 50,000 people in 4 states with additional opportunities in two additional states.
