Corporate History
After 30 years of working for other carriers, the late Arthur Pliaconis saw a need in the market and developed a clear vision for the industry. In the mid 70's he started his moving and storage company, consisting of a single truck and rented trailer. In 1982 Plycon was incorporated. Today the company, run by his sons David, Dean and Chris, has grown to include 150 trucks and 11 locations coast to coast. Plycon is considered the premiere blanket wrap carrier in the furniture industry. We specialize in high-end furniture, antiques and provides complete logistic solutions for the fine furniture industry.
As your logistics partner in the transportation industry, our objective is to continue to help you grow by custom tailoring our services to your needs and helping to simplify complicated tasks.

Our philosophy from conception, Providing pickup and delivery for our clients in a courteous, professional and cost effective manner, and deliver their goods on time and damage free. We are constantly fine tuning our operation, as a master fine tunes their harp, "by listening" to you, our customer. We're pursuing new ways to make "The Plycon Experience" better for our clients, through technology as well as the human touch. This has been our vision, drive and passion that brought us from our humble beginnings to this point in time and will be our motivating force for the future.
