Pohs Institute was founded in New York City in 1921 by Herbert Pohs.  Mr. Pohs’ vision was to create a school that delivered the finest education combined with first-rate customer service all at a competitive price.  Under his guidance, Pohs Institute quickly became known as the leading provider of insurance and real estate education, gaining an unrivaled reputation and licensing thousands of insurance and real estate agents in the New York Metropolitan area.
